Pavlov's Robot: Training Plastic to Do Tricks with Classical Conditioning
Remember Pavlov's dog experiments? In a similar fashion, researchers at Tampere University and Aalto University are employing the same concept (of classical conditioning) to teach materials new tricks. Materials can also be made to “forget” what they have learned.
