2026 National Student Design Competition | Episode 1
Episode 1 is officially live.
The first episode takes viewers inside the beginning stages of the competition, from the nationwide submission process to the difficult judging rounds that ultimately selected the Top 7 designers moving forward in the competition.

With applications submitted from across Canada, judges were faced with the challenge of selecting the designers who would continue into the next phase of creative development. Once selected, the finalists were brought into the Sherwin-Williams environment, where their concepts received approval and designers were given the opportunity to begin selecting the materials and pieces that would eventually shape their final runway looks.
This marks the beginning of a journey centered around innovation, experimentation, mentorship, and the future of Canadian fashion design.
