How to remove lag, freezes, and FPS drops in 5M (GTA RP)
If you play 5M on PC and experience performance issues such as freezes and FPS drops, there are several settings that can help optimize the game.
First, check for Windows updates. Avoid leaving the system updating automatically, as this consumes a lot of resources. Pause updates and do them manually once a month.
Next, enable Game Mode in Windows settings. This option disables background processes while you play. Then, go to Graphics settings and enable optimization for windowed games and hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Add 5M to the list of applications and set it to High Performance.
Another important step is to optimize storage disks. Use the drive defragmentation and optimization tool to ensure that game files load faster.
