How to Change Mac Computer's Name (Device Name) - Tutorial - AirDrop Sharing Multiple Apple Devices
If you have multiple Aplpe devices (especially the same type), then you might want to change the name of your device so they don't all show up as "iPhone" for all of them when you want to AirDrop files from one Apple device to another.
Here is a quick and easy tutorial on how to change your Mac product's name. Please do note that the change is not instant. It can take up to several hours to apply this change.
