EpicPen is great for creating and recording demos where being able to point or highlight areas of the screen in important. You can write on anything you see on the screen. If you have picture-in-picture video and want to pick out an important section, use EpicPen to draw attention to the special area.
If you find you want more features, the paid for version offers a white board, drawing tools (like text, lines, and arrows), and a larger color palette (there 16 colors in the free version, 24 in the paid version).
