Is Wenwu’s Revenge JUSTIFIED? || While Shang-Chi’s Wenwu is one of the best Marvel villains since Black Panther’s Killmonger, the movie does a great job at displaying the contradictions in his methods when considering his late wife’s words “leave the past behind” in comparison to when Wenwu takes his revenge against the Iron Gang. And this Marvel Studios film does that with Wenwu by showing what happens when you combine the trope “I Can Change My Beloved” with what happens when you don’t completely follow through with changed behavior.
