If you’re new to Notion, you might feel a tad overwhelmed by its versatility, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll see just how powerful this tool can be for organizing various aspects of your life and work. The first thing you’ll need to do is open Notion on your browser or desktop app. Once you’re in, and you're on the page where you want your table, simply start by typing a forward slash, followed by the word 'table'. This action will trigger a dropdown menu providing several options. Here, Notion gives you the choice between creating an inline table or a full-page table.
If you're wondering which one to pick, here's a simple explanation: An inline table is great for when you want to have your table as part of a larger page, where you might also have text, images, or other elements surrounding it.
