PDF stands for Portable Document Format and Adobe Systems is the developer. This type of file is great because it preserves document formatting for those that do not have Microsoft Word, or an earlier version of the program. I use the latest version of the program at the time of this video, however, the process is pretty much the same in earlier versions. Remember, the primary goal of PDF files is for viewing, not editing. This makes it an especially great way to send information that is meant to be viewed from any device at any time.
