Finding Rogue devices (DHCP routers and misconfigurations) quickly and easily
using arp -a and a mac address lookup you can very quickly identify devices that are causing problems (for example you cannot print because another device has the same IP range) this is really common issue in poorly configured networks, but not too hard to track down what is causing the problem
