China's newest MEGA CONSTRUCTION
Still in 2024, China will mark another great engineering feat: a journey that currently takes two hours will be reduced to an impressive 30 minutes.
This will be possible thanks to the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, a 24-kilometer-long megaproject integrating tunnels, artificial islands, and bridges, featuring the world's widest underwater tunnel, located 30 meters below the ocean. This undertaking will not only facilitate transportation but also set new world records for engineering.
