5 Condors Released to Vermillion Cliffs, Arizona
Driving to Kanab and onto Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, the Condor Viewing Site, along highway 89A about an hour east of Kanab, to House Rock Road then 3 miles... to the site.. in Marble Canyon. 5 captive-bred Condors were released. about 18 months old. They flew up to the roof of the cage & looked around. Viewing was through telescopes provided by the Peregrine Fund, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Park Rangers from the Grand Canyon were on site to help as well...
