Real Road Test: 1996 Volvo 440 - Born Identity?
HubNut is all about celebrating the ordinary, and here's a Volvo you could be forgiven for having forgotten about.
This is a very late phase 2 Volvo 440 1.6i, built in Born, Netherlands and taken back to the factory as part of this road test! The VLD Nedcar facility now makes MINIs of various types, and BMW X1s. Coaches are built at a separate facility that I drove past yesterday as it happens!
