This is the story of Masha, a video maker, car enthusiast and owner of one of the most spectacular Mazda RX-7 in St. Petersburg. She built her rotary legend practically from scratch: a rare engine, a custom underhood, 400 horsepower and dozens of decisions made on intuition and love for car culture.
What is it like to be one of the few girls behind the wheel of a wild RX-7? What does it mean to "live the project"? And how to assemble your "car family"?

This is the story of Masha, a girl who built her Mazda RX-7 practically from scratch. Her journey began with buying the car she dreamed of, but the reality turned out to be tougher: the technical condition of the car was far from ideal. Instead of a “ready-made legend,” she received a half-disassembled project with a lot of problems, but it was too late to refuse. The car became a matter of life — and a long work began.
In this episode, Masha talks about how a complete overhaul of the rotary engine took place, how custom parts were selected, and why the project lasted for 2 years. The car was assembled live, and in the process, decisions were constantly made about the settings, exterior, and underhood. Particular attention is paid to the interior, audio system, rare optics, and custom elements.
A separate topic is power and drive. Now the RX-7 produces about 350 horsepower, and this is no longer just a beautiful car for photo shoots — it is a truly fast car created for driving pleasure. But, as Masha admits, she doesn’t drive it every day: “It’s not just a means of transportation — it’s an experience.”
The heroine talks about how it can be difficult for a woman in the car culture to be taken seriously, but emphasizes: respect comes not for gender, but for a real approach and result. She doesn’t claim to be a mechanic, but she knows how her car should look and drive — and she achieves this.
The RX-7 has become not only a car, but also a part of Masha’s life and personality. The car community, parties, communication with like-minded people, trips and projects — all this has become a continuation of her path. Despite mistakes, difficulties and costs, she does not regret her choice. On the contrary, she considers this path important, honest and completely “hers.”
