In this video we are going to create 2D Parametric Constraints in BricsCAD Software.

Command Description:
This video gives you step-by-step instructions to create a parametrically constrained rectangle with four parametrically offsetted sides.
This shows how you can define the FIX constraint to fix the base point of the rectangle.
Next, the PARALLEL, HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL and EQUAL linear constraints are used to define the length and orientation properties of the four sides of the rectangle.
The COINCIDENT constraint is then used to ensure that each pair of adjoining sides of the rectangle always meet at a single point.
Finally, dimensional constraints are used to represent the changeable parameters of our rectangle - LENGTH, HEIGHT, RIGHT_OFFSET, LEFT_OFFSET, TOP_OFFSET and BOTTOM_OFFSET.
