Finding Latitude and Longitude of a Point in AutoCAD is very simple using ESurvey KML Software. First, you have to set map datum, hemisphere, and zone and then if you select any point after running FLL command respective points Latitude and Longitude are shown. Similarly, if you have a Polyline Latitude and Longitude of each Polyline vertices can be found using MLL Command.
Find Latitude Longitude of a given point in CAD
Welcome to a Video tutorial on how to find a Latitude Longitude of any point in AutoCAD drawing. You will also learn how to export latitude, longitude value of many points from CAD Drawing.
To find UTM coordinates of any point in the first you have to set map datum, hemisphere, and zone. Select the “Set Datum” sub-item from the ‘KML’ menu and specify the datum, hemisphere, and Zone. Now in the drawing, by using FLL command if you click any point, the respective Latitude Longitude point will be shown.
If you want to find Latitude, Longitude value of multiple points in the drawing, then you can use ‘MLL’ command. When you use ‘MLL’ command and select a polyline, Latitude & Longitudes will be marked at each vertex of the polyline. Further, if you want these values in Excel, Using ENN command of the Lisp module, you can export these Latitude Longitude values in EN.CSV file.
