In this video, I play around with the stereotype of the dude at a house party who picks up a guitar and plays 4 basic open chords. Essentially, the video begins by playing a basic I-V-ii-IV progression, and after each 4 bars, I move into a new set of chord shapes that have a different aesthetic. For instance, I explore the progression as basic open chords, barre chords, spread triads, extended jazz chords, inversions, and open emo chords. Hope you have fun learning these!
