Today's EP Visita went to Arujá, São Paulo, to get a closer look at Pingo de Mel, a family-owned operation that splits its business between a physical store and e-commerce. Today, over 70% of its revenue comes from online sales.
The family business was founded by Marcos and his wife and is managed in partnership with their children. Today, they are one of the largest candy sellers on Shopee, with R$3 million in monthly revenue, and they plan to double that number on Black Friday.
