Over the last 10 years I produced over 450 videos, but of all of them THIS is the video that I am most proud of. I was hired to create this video for a 30th anniversary party for Tony’s Mexican Restaurant, it was shown to room of 200 people. The message of the video was to share Tony’s story. The reason I’m most proud of this video is because it is the largest, most complicated video project I’ve ever done. My average video project has 1 location shoot and 1 or 2 people. This had 4 location shoots, 27 people, and needed translation overlay text. When you have 27 people the hours of editing is enormous, because you have to 1)interview each person and help them say what’s needed for the camera, 2) and then you have to find the best cuts from each and combine them with others to form a story. Hours of work, but well worth it when it comes out right. This video is not short, it’s 16.5 min. long so I don’t expect everyone to view it, but for those of you who want to see how to tell a story with emotion, this is how to do it. Thank you to Tony’s Mexican Restaurant for allowing me to produce this video for you and your family. 😊
