Goodnight Electric started as a Henry Foundation solo project in early 2004. Inspired by music in the early 80s and 90s such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Kraftwerk, Yazoo, Bell and Sebastian and The Lighting Seeds. Combining new wave and indie pop in such a way that it sound catchy, light and danceable by using synthesizers and sequencer as their main weapon. Supported by Bondi Goodboy and Oomleo in a live performance, Goodnight Electric turned into an electronic pop group.
Goodnight Electric released their debut album “Love and Turbo Action’ at the end of 2004 under HFMF Records with the single “Am I Robot?” and “Rocket Ship Goes By” which received very good appreciation among youngster and music lovers at that time, especially in the independent music scene.
