1987 Jeep Comanche Idle Problem
My rebuilt 1987 Jeep Comanche all the sudden quit for a week, wouldnt start. I got it running but would not idle at all. I took the throttle body off, melted the solder out that plugged the adjustment hole, added a fuel pressure gauge, then set the fuel pressyre regulator to 15 psi. Tried everything , watched videos, read forums, then unplugged brand new O2 sensor, running good now. It was a new mopar O2 sensor must have failed, waiting on another new one. I installed rebuilt engine, transmission, and transfer case, months ago, and still havent been able to take an extended test drive, very frustrating. I ordered a new Renix computer monitor, $150 from nickintime designs, so I can see a read out of the computer sensors and be able to diagnose priblems faster, no guess work. Renix system is pre-OBD monitor
