Sim Racing Has a PRICING PROBLEM… 😬 | Simube DDU 100 vs Base Performance DDU-5T
Today we compare two very different sim racing dashboards:
The Simube DDU 100 for 129€ vs the Base Performance DDU-5T for up to 549€.
And the weird part? Both use the same 5" VoCore display.
So the question is not just “which one is better?” - it’s what 3-4x the price actually gets you. Better build quality? Better firmware? Better electronics? Or mostly nicer packaging, Gorilla Glass, better LED diffusion… and a much higher price tag? 😬
This is not a brand takedown. The Base Performance DDU-5T has some real strengths, and I’m also testing their FW1 wheel with very positive first impressions so far. But for this dashboard, the value question is hard to ignore.
So let’s find out: does the Simube DDU 100 make the expensive dash look overpriced - or does the Base Performance DDU-5T actually justify the premium?
