Hello friends!
It is officially winter here in the Northeast and wolves have been on my mind. So, I decided to create a mixed media painting with a wolf as the subject. This is one of my favorite ways to create a painting. Combining abstract techniques with a focal point creates something unique a beautiful, but the layers are what makes it so. This painting has a bit of everything; Using different tools like squeegees, foam rollers, and palette knives to create a variety of textural interest. Collage, stencils, spray paint, acrylic paint and finally oil paint create a painting that has interest and depth. It's all about the layers!
