Get json data into QGIS
Found a web link with loads of messy data that has location in it but can't figure out how to get it into QGIS so you can map it? If you're a web developer or just a bit of a boffin it might be simple, but for some it can be confusing. So in this video I show you how to get json data from a web link (below), parse it in Excel and then import it into QGIS as a csv.
The data is for all Greggs bakeries in the UK, more than 2,000 of them. The web link is a public url and was brought to my attention by Terry Rudden (thanks).
