Mail access protocols| SMTP POP3 IMAP| Difference between POP3 and IMAP
I have discussed some protocols used for sending and receiving e-mails. Senders send e-mail using SMTP protocol. Receivers receive mail using POP3 protocol. When Receivers use more than one devices for receiving emails then IMAP protocol used.
