To turn off notifications in the Google #Chrome browser, follow these steps. First, open Chrome on your computer. Then, access the settings by clicking on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Chrome window. From the menu, hover your cursor over "Settings" and then click on "Privacy and security." In the "Privacy and security" section, click on "Site settings."
Scroll down to the "Permissions" section and click on "Notifications." Here, you can block all notifications by toggling the switch next to "Sites can ask to send notifications" to the off position.
If you want to block notifications for specific websites while allowing others, scroll down to the "Allow" section. Find the website for which you want to block notifications and click on the three vertical dots next to it, then select "Block" from the drop-down menu. After making your changes, close the Settings tab to save your notification preferences.
It's important to note that the exact steps and options may vary slightly depending on the version of Chrome you are using, but this general process should work for most versions of the browser. By following these steps, you can effectively manage and control the notifications you receive while browsing the web in Chrome, reducing interruptions and distractions.
