🌎🌎🌎TOBY RICE IS TRYING TO SAVE THE WORLD!! 🌎🌎🌎

🤙🤙Part 2 of Energy First with Sarah and Jen is now officially released! 🤙🤙

✨👉 He talks about how energy consumption drives human progress and that’s why we need to do more, but we have to address people’s concerns over climate.

✨👉 He talks about how we are not just digging holes in the ground so to make a profit, we are digging holes in the ground so that we can achieve a higher purpose, and that is to provide energy security for the world. Energy consumption drives human progress and that’s why we need to do more, but we have to address people’s concerns over climate.

✨👉Our ability to put more energy into this world is being challenged because of people’s concerns over climate and that meant that there was a lot of pushback on pipelines.

✨👉We’ve lowered emissions almost a billion times in the last 15 years, which is more than the next 8 countries combined! The majority of the emissions reduction in the United States came from one thing, replacing coal with natural gas.

✨👉He also talked about Netpower, (NetPower.com) which is an exciting new clean energy technology company with a mission to globally deliver the “Energy Trifecta”: clean, reliable and low-cost energy.

✨👉He talked about since 2014-2021 investments globally is down 50%. We’ve built the fewest amount of pipelines we’ve built since 1995, in the last 30 years.

✨👉While the oil and gas industry has about $400 million worth of advocacy groups set up the largest being API, which is a $250 million budget, anti fossil fuel groups have a one and a halve billion dollar advocacy budget from the groups, like the Sierra clubs.

✨👉Prices are a little bit soft right now, natural gas prices specifically, we had a warm winter and storage is full but nothing has changed. We still struggle to get pipelines built, the war in Ukraine rages on. We still have rampant inflation. We are in the eye of the storm right now. We need to change course and actually get back to building so that we can achieve our higher purpose: lowering global emissions and providing energy security to the world.
