Vampire Survivors is Possibly the Best $3 Game on Steam
Essentially, Vampire Survivors is a game where the only control you have over your character, is your movement. Slowly between and during waves of enemies coming at you you'll amass different power ups that quickly transform you into what is basically a touhou boss. It's unreasonably fun, and it very quickly lets you know why it's been rising through the Steam Charts. Even if a lot of the power-ups you get are projectiles, they all behave very differently. Some target the closest enemies to you, and another might rotate around you in a clock-like pattern.
This diversity despite simplicity extends to the enemies as well.
Other titles I've recommended on this channel have required reading mountains of text and forking over dozens of dollars, but Vampire Survivors is not only a meager 3 dollars, it's available on xbox game pass.
If you have a love for wave based games, or just.. Fun.. You probably won't regret taking a nice long look.. At Vampire Survivors.
