How to Check LIC of India Policy Status Online?: Jeevan Bima Nigam ki Policy Status Kaise Jaane?

In this video I talk about how you can check the status of your policy online using the official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India?
If you don't have an account on the official website, then you can create one by entering following details:
Policy number
EXACT Installment premium amount without tax
Date of Birth
Mobile number
Email ID
Passport
PAN number
Gender
Once you have created an account, you can login to your account and you will be able to see the status of your policy online which can be either one of the following:
In force: This means that you are paying your insurance premium on timely basis and your policy is in active status.
Lapsed: This means that you have NOT paid your premium on timely basis. Try to pay (revive your policy) your dues (along with any penalty/interest) and make your policy status "in force" again, so that you don't face any type of issue in case of death of the policy holder.
Apart from policy status you will also be able to see following details in your account:
Name of Life Assured
Sum Assured
Plan Name and number
Instalment Premium
Premium Due From which date
Total Premium Amount Due (if any)
Premium Mode which can be yearly, half yearly etc
Nominee name, age and share percentage.
Vested Bonus
Premium Paying Term
Policy Term
Policy Commencement Date
Date of Maturity
Local LIC Branch Details
