At Singtel, we recognise that technology and digitisation have a critical role to play in enabling positive social impact and empowering the vulnerable in our community. Since 2016, Singtel Future Makers has invested over S$5 million to support 72 local and regional social impact start-ups and build a social innovation ecosystem to accelerate the start-ups’ growth so that more people might be empowered through their tech for good solutions.
This year, Singtel Future Makers is looking to support 5G enabled technologies that can make a positive impact in the social sector. We have heard a lot of hype on how 5G’s faster and more responsive network will revolutionise our world. But what is less mentioned is how it can also be an enabler for new technologies and opportunities that can multiply social value created for our communities
Join us in this virtual engagement session to learn how we seek to incubate more tech for good solutions, how start-ups interested in leveraging 5G to maximise social impact can benefit from the programme and hear from our alumni start-ups about their programme experience.
