A WORD FROM CHRIS
I created Jaci when I was still a junior in high school. Back then, she was a much more simpler character; and I am happy to say, she has come a long way since. Originally a silly cartoon who fights evil ninjas, Jaci is now a complex woman with a complex history. An honorably discharged black ops solider, who became a mercenary, who become a burnt out bounty hunter, Jaci has quite an interesting tale.
I originally tried to tell this particular story as far back as 2010, but I was never able to film more than the opening Remmy sequence and a trailer. Funding projects is hard and when you can't get the finances together, things can fall apart within a matter of seconds. In 2015, I tried to breathe new life into Jaci again, this time with my short film "Assassinista". And while the short film was well received, I was never able to do a follow up story, once again due to budgetary constraints.
So finally, in 2022, after a string of radio plays that have definitely helped expand the BCU, I decided to finally give Jaci her dues and (at the very least) retell the full story to episode one of her original unmade webseries. Whether or not I continue this story depends on viewership, but at the very least it's out there for your entertainment.
Grace Evelyn Morales has returned to lend her voice to Jaci. I haven't been able to work with Grace since Assassinista, after moving to California, so it was a real treat to get her back in the saddle as Jaci.
