How to do Audio Tutorials (Episode 1: Setting up your DAW & OBS)
Hey folks! This is the first episode of a new series I’m starting on How to make audio tutorials! We're getting meta and doing a tutorial about doing a tutorial. There are many OBS tutorials online, but very few of them address audio, and focus on video instead. I have been doing tutorials for a while now, so I wanted to tackle the audio side of things and show you some shortcomings, shortcuts, and tips and tricks on how to approach capturing pristine audio into OBS.
While I use REAPER, these tutorials should offer principles that are the same in any DAW. In the first episode, I’ll show you how to set up your DAW and OBS for capturing your tutorial. By the end you will have everything you need to start recording your very own tutorials, but in future episodes, I will show you some editing and signal flow tricks as well!
