In this video tutorial, I have discussed how to design the combined load frequency and voltage control model of thermal power system using transfer functions in MATLAB/SIMULINK Software.
For this purpose, I have considered an example from the Book Power System Analysis by Hadi Sadat, Chapter 12, Example 12.9.
I have discussed how to measure the frequency, voltage variations in per unit, hertz as well as in volts due to load variations.
In the end, I have discussed how this model can be used for Bachelor degree final year projects, or can be used for the fulfillment of one or two research objectives in Master and PhD degrees.
