BOTAFOGO 2 X 2 INTERNACIONAL | HIGHLIGHTS | 2026 BRAZILIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
A FRENZIED DRAW 🥵🔥
#Botafogo drew 2-2 with #Internacional in the 13th round of the #BrazilianChampionship. #Danilo and #Medina scored for Fogão, while #Carbonero and #Bernabei leveled the score.
The first half was characterized by misplaced passes and few clear scoring chances. Neither team managed to change the scoreline.
What the first 45 minutes lacked in excitement, the clubs made up for in the second half. In the eighth minute, Mateo Ponte found Danilo inside the area, who received the ball, turned his body, and shot into the corner to open the scoring. In the 13th minute, Carbonero went on the attack and shot across goal, taking advantage of a mistake by Neto to equalize.
Without much time to think, in the 19th minute Botafogo took the lead again. Edenílson touched the ball in the area, but Matheus Martins hit the post. On the rebound, Medina didn't waste the opportunity and scored.
At 28 minutes, after a corner kick, the ball fell to Bernabei, who unleashed a powerful shot and sealed the score.
