Sheetrock & Insulation Install | Kitchen Remodel Day 3 | Garden State Renovations NJ
It's renovation day 3 here at my kitchen fixer upper in Long Branch, NJ. We're doing a full kitchen makeover, a renovation project that will take about 3 weeks to complete. In this video series, I will take you through the kitchen renovation process step-by-step so you know what to expect of your dream kitchen renovation with my company, Garden State Renovations.
We're still in the early phases of the remodel project. After demo day, which you can watch here • How to Renovate Your Dream Kitchen on Demo... , our handy electrician finished the rough wiring. Then, we updated plumbing pipes and drains. We insulated the walls with with proper R values to have the maximum insulation in the remodeled kitchen.We also installed damp resistant green board instead of regular sheetrock. Finally, we put the first coat of spackle. For flooring, we'll be removing the top subfloor and we'll add #durock cement as a base for the tile.
