The Drunken Imam and the Abandoned Prophet

Documented truth: when the Prophet of the Muslims died, he had no one to bury him for nearly three days. Simply put: he was abandoned. This abandonment is also evident when we read Sahih Bukhari, which tells us the story of the Thursday before the Prophet Muhammad's death. He asked for something to write, and the answer was: NO. This was the time when his contribution was no longer welcome.
To explore this further, we will examine the case of Mr. Al Walid Ibn Ukba, the half-brother of Uthman ibn Affan (the third caliph, Umayyad family). He appointed him as prefect of Kufa in Iraq. In Sahih Muslim, we learn that Al Walid Ibn Ukba led prayers completely drunk and even vomited during the morning prayer.
In the Quran, Walid Ibn Ukba is described as a pervert and a depraved person. A Quranic verse clearly states this about him. Yet, here he is, imam after the Prophet's death.
This story, among many others, proves to us that the prophetic message was not respected by Muslims. Following the Prophet's death, Islam took a political path.
