International Women's Day - Anne Boleyn ❤️
It's #InternationalWomensDay and to celebrate we're remembering Anne Boleyn, Hever's most prominent heroine.
Anne was born in 1501 to Thomas Boleyn and Lady Elizabeth Howard and was educated in the Netherlands and France.
On her return to England in 1522, Anne was appointed as lady-in-waiting to Henry VIII's wife Catherine of Aragon. Anne's striking looks and sophisticated manners earned her many admirers at court.
