MY ART SURPRISES ME SOMETIMES… 🤯
And, to be honest, it happens more often than not.
I always see myself as a beginner when it comes to art—whether it’s due to imposter syndrome, lack of confidence, the realization of how much more there is to learn (not dismissing what I already know, though), or simply because I am a beginner. I’m often surprised by the things I create.
And I absolutely love that feeling!
I’ve observed other artists feeling inadequate or experiencing negative emotions when they finish an artwork, struggling to determine when it’s truly complete…
Maybe it’s my ignorance speaking, but I always feel surprised and happy whenever I decide that an art piece is done.
The journey is undeniably a struggle, but when the result becomes a tangible thing, ah! It’s the best!
Just a few more days left before the #6BChallenge for June 2023 comes to an end.
I’m still contemplating what to take on for the next month. Any ideas? Please share them with me! 😅
I have a few options in mind, but I can’t decide which one to choose. They all feel like I might be taking on more than I can handle…
By the way, if you’d like to join the challenge, you’re more than welcome! The only rule is to engage in something art-related every day for an entire month. ☺️
And of course, don’t forget to use the hashtag #6BChallenge and tag me 😁💙
