Description of the lyrics:
Birds swim on the sea and under their wings they have a boat. Under the boat there’s a crib and in that crib hay. Under the hay there’s a linen cloth and inside that a boy. The child is making the sky and under the sky is an orphan maiden that sews a cloth of golden and silver. As a silver yarn breaks she calls out to her mother. But the mother is not there. Instead a stranger with a whisk comes and hits her time after time. The maidens eyes are filled with tears and they roll down over the strangers socks, over the grass and form a pond. An oak grows next to the pond and three cuckoos fly to it. The first sing grace grace and the second sings love love and the third sings thaw thaw. The one who sings of grace is dad, one who loves is mom and the one who sings thaw thaw is the cuckoo of the groom.
