42129 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck offers a unique building experience and it is fun to drive.
We did some modifications to the design and add more power to the motors with BuWizz 3.0 Pro, so the upgraded version is faster, more powerful and agile.
We redesigned the front axle to increase the ground clearance under the wheels. Now the axle has one stud more of the ground clearance compared to the original.
The model's gear ratio was slightly decreased. And thanks to the additional power provided by BuWizz the model can reach 60% higher top speed. The original model can reach around 10 cm/s, while our modified version can reach 16 cm/s while having high enough torque to climb over everything.
The second modification was to replace the original differential with a new reinforced one because the original differential could not withstand the additional power provided by the motors when it is powered by BuWizz.
One of the things we improved was the steering angle. The steering angle of the original is around 20-25°, while this one reaches
over 30°. Increasing the steering angle makes the model much more maneuverable which improves, driving capabilities. It makes climbing over things much easier. Especially at stages where you need to be very precise to get through a certain point or checkpoint or things like that.
