A Week In New Jersey. Episode
I spent a week in New Jersey last month helping to install a large residential planting that took shape over the course of the last 3 years. My perennial garden design was very large, incorporating more than 14,000 plants. I asked Hannah Packer to be the lead landscape architect and she sourced all the plants, designed the woody plant layout, found the landscape contractor, designed the beds with the owner's help and any number of other essential duties. The crew did an amazing job laying out and planting. My wife, Annamaria, also made an invaluable contribution in managing the nursery as well as assisting the layout and planting process. The homeowner was very engaged and will continue to contribute to the project w additional plantings and of course care and maintenance.
