Sometimes, your gmail display language is set to local language in default according to your IP address when you sign up for new account, which you may want to change to English, or you may want to change the current language to your preferred language; the procedure for it is simple and quick. Steps:
1. Login to your Gmail Account.
2. Click on 'Gear' Settings Icon at the top right.
3. Click on 'See all settings'.
4. Select the available language that you want. from 'Gmail display language' in Language Section.
5. Scroll Down to the bottom and Click on 'Save Changes'.
Gmail display language is set to your preference now.
