DrDisrespect PERMA-BANNED from Twitch (Reasons Unknown)
DrDisRespect, one of twitches most popular streamers has been permanently banned on Twitch. As of right now, it is not entirely clear as to why Doc has been banned, but a few sources suggest that it was a serious offense. Someone who used to work at twitch by the twitter handle Shannon Z Killer said that from her own sources Doc is indeed done and not just on Twitch…citing the words: this is serious. Timtat
Twitch has also spoken on the matter but did not elaborate on the offence: “As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community.” Many were looking towards some DMCA claims that had been surfacing over the past few weeks, but this ban doesn’t seem to be related to that. Also some turned to the twitch allegations of different streamers like hasan, and others.
We will most likely be hearing more about what exactly happened and what could have caused a permanent ban. Doc has been a part of the twitch community for years and has grown quite the following of his character, guy Behm, with entertaining and motivational messages of violence speed and momentum. As a streamer, doc had one of the best production values and provided hours of entertainment for thousands. We’re not sure what Doc did, and we hope to see more detail on whether or not a permaban was in order. Let me know in the comments what you think of the ban
