Spin Master | The Toy Movement | Colombia 2018
Every year, Spin Master continues its work in The Toy Movement, delivering inspiration, fuelling imagination, and bringing joy to children around the world.
In December of 2018, a dedicated team of Spin Master employees and partner organizations travelled to Colombia on a 3-day mission delivering toys to children, helping them, play, learn, and grow – as all children should. Visiting rural, impoverished areas, the team met with thousands of children across Colombia spreading the joy of the Toy Movement.
As of 2016, 28 million children were living in forced displacement – this includes 12 million child refugees and child asylum seekers, and 16 million children living in internal displacement due to conflict and violence. These numbers do not include 7 million children internally displaced by natural disasters.
