How To Archive Instagram Posts All At Once

Archiving posts on Instagram is a great way to clean up your profile without permanently deleting your content. When you archive a post, it disappears from your public profile but stays safely stored in your private archive. You can restore it anytime if you change your mind. Many people use this feature to temporarily hide old posts while rebranding their account or simply to keep their profile fresh.
Normally, you can archive posts one by one by opening a post, tapping the three dots in the corner, and selecting “Archive.” However, if you have a lot of posts, this can be time-consuming. Fortunately, Instagram also allows you to archive multiple posts at once using the “Your activity” feature in the settings.
To do this, open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap the three-line menu in the top right corner and select “Your activity.” From here, choose “Posts.” You’ll see a list of all your uploaded posts. In the top right corner, tap the “Select” option. Now you can select multiple posts at once instead of handling them individually. Once you’ve highlighted all the posts you want to remove from your profile, tap the “Archive” button at the bottom. Instagram will instantly move them to your archive, removing them from your main profile grid.
The archived posts remain private and visible only to you. They keep all their likes and comments, so nothing is lost. You can access them anytime by going to your profile, tapping the three-line menu, selecting “Archive,” and switching between Stories, Posts, and Live archives. From there, you can restore posts to your profile if needed.
This method saves time, especially if you’re managing a large account or simply want a faster way to hide multiple posts. It’s one of Instagram’s most useful features for organizing and controlling the visibility of your content.
