Brazilian fighter Fabio Maldonado (22-9), who will fight on June 16 in Moscow, Fedor Emelianenko (35-4, 1 the NC), said that he had lost his manager after he agreed to this fight.
Everything happened very quickly. As I said, I was offered the fight with Fedor, and I thought at first it was a joke. I really did not believe it, but in the end it turned out that I'm really going to fight Fedor in Moscow. My manager Alex Davis, with whom I worked for many years, learned about this fight from the media. I was wrong. I said nothing to him about it. It all happened too fast. I thought it was a joke, and then held for a plane ticket to Moscow and signed a contract to fight. I was going to tell Alex later, on another day, but it was a stupid decision.
