The composition is conceived as an improvisation in a free form, with attention to the details of modulation within the sound stream and the spatial dimension, as an integral part of music perception. Our ensemble consists of three directions: acoustic instruments, live coding, and analog synthesis. It is an illustration of the combination of three different temporal epochs, merging into one sound stream.
Ivan Belov - analog synthesis, computer.
Algorithmic and generative approach to sound extraction, post-effects.
Marina Karpova - live coding.
Teacher of music theory disciplines, field recordist, punk music researcher. Author and co-author of several projects and laboratories in St. Petersburg.
Sonya Skobeleve - wind instruments, electronics.
Studied at the Improvisational Music School at the Sound Museum (2019). Member of the St. Petersburg Improvisers Orchestra, "Pustotsvet" ensemble.
