Akeley Camera "Wings" Oscar Winner Paramount Pictures
This video is about the only camera that can be attributed to having worked on "Wings", the movie that won two Academy Awards at the very first Academy Awards ceremony in 1929. It won Best Picture and Best Effects Oscars. Wings was later selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
