Discord Is Officially On Quest Headsets! (With Free Nitro)
Discord on Meta Quest is Finally Here! 🎉
Discord is now officially available directly from the Meta Store for Quest headsets! In this video, I'll show you how to install Discord, set up the required permissions, and stream your Quest gameplay straight to Discord.
⚠️ Important Warning: Do NOT use Meta's built-in screen recording feature while streaming through Discord. Doing so can break your stream and potentially crash the app.

✅ Download and install Discord from the Meta Store
✅ Sign in to your Discord account
✅ Resize and manage Discord windows in Quest
✅ Work around the current Settings menu bug
✅ Enable required permissions (camera, microphone, audio, and files)
✅ Start a video call and verify everything is working
✅ Set up Quest screen sharing through Discord
✅ Share your entire VR view with friends
Current Known Issues
Settings menu can get stuck after opening.
Some permission prompts may require extra setup.
Screen recording can interfere with Discord streaming.
There are still a few bugs, but Meta and Discord are actively working on improvements.
Quick Setup Steps
Install Discord from the Meta Store.
Open Discord and sign in.
Start a call to access the permissions page.
Allow:
Virtual Camera
Headset Camera
Microphone
Audio & Video Files
Start a video call.
Resize the Discord window and move the control dashboard into view.
Click Share Your Screen.
Select Try It Now for mobile-style screen sharing.
Choose Entire View and click Share.
That's it! You're now streaming your Quest gameplay through Discord.
