The UCLA Center for Pancreatic Diseases
In 2024, the new UCLA Agi Hirshberg Center for Pancreatic Diseases was unveiled. The center shares state-of-the-art clinical space with the UCLA Pfleger Liver Institute within the Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Medical Building in UCLA Health’s Medical Plaza.
Renowned for its integrated practice unit (IPU), the center successfully manages complex patient cases through the expertise of a multidisciplinary team. The new suite features ample natural light and ocean views on clear days and examination rooms designed to maximize comfort and privacy. This setting also enables coordinated care by prioritizing collaboration among IPU team members, which will soon add a position for a patient liaison.
