Explanation about my character(opal) falling and the portal:
So, technically, my character is counted as a time-traveler. She had started time traveling right when you saw her as a young girl with a book. Since it was her first time and they thought she wouldn’t enter, the hands had grabbed Opal and pulled her into the portal, starting her time-traveling. Now for the falling part, since Opal goes through the portal a lot she goes through an empty abyss sometimes when she might have a bad ending for the time she traveled to- which is all the time. Sometimes when traveling through the abyss, she gets tormented by her mind in there, which is the reasoning why there would be herself and her past self. I cant really explain why she gets tormented but she does it to herself since Opal thinks about bad things and what could happen during the area she is traveling to.
